Come to our first "Episode Talkback" on Sept 23

Hi there!

I’m not sure how many folks receiving this are Threshold listeners, but for those of you who are, or if you’re Threshold-curious, I’d like to invite you to a special event we’re holding next month. It’s our first ever Episode Talkback—a small online gathering where we can discuss an episode together.

You might be familiar with talkbacks from theater or film, when the cast and director come out to chat with the audience after a play or a screening. Another analogue is a book club, but with no ongoing obligations (and sadly, no wine, unless you want to bring your own).

My motivations, I’ll confess, are partially selfish. I spend soooo long thinking about and crafting these stories, and then they come out…and I don’t get to discuss them all that much. But I’m not just scratching a personal itch here; I think the people and creatures featured in Hark have important messages to share, and part of getting those ideas out there is creating forums for conversation and exchange.
